Finca Hotel "Raims"
The Finca Hotel "Raims" can be found in the centre
of the village of Algaida, just 20km from Palma, situated close
to the monastery hills of Randa.
The manor house, dating from the XVII century, is particularly
well known for its wine making and has one of the oldest "wine
cellars" in Majorca.
In 1999 the house was transformed into a charming Finca Hotel.
The main entrance, with its two large arches, floors of cobbled
stones and the small family chapel, all contain many treasures
of the original Majorcan manor house.
A walk through the garden with tall palm trees and a great variety
of plants, offers lots of small relaxing corners and takes you
to the swimming pool and its terraces.
The old barns have
been converted into five ample, individually styled, apartments
overlooking the garden.
Their sizes vary between 40 and 75 m² and all have a lounge
with sofa beds (most with open fireplaces), a double bedroom,
small kitchen, a bathroom and private terrace.
Each is fully equipped with central heating, satellite TV, music
system, air conditioning in the bedrooms, plus hairdryer and dressing
gowns in the bathrooms.
