to the Hotel Rosamar, a privately run gay hotel in the heart of El Terreno
- Palma, 150 yds from Plaza Gomilla, ideally situated to visit the local
beach at Illetas by bus, the city of Palma with its sophisticated shops
and art galleries and to explore the island by car.
Rosamar has forty bedrooms offering bed and breakfast. All rooms have private bathrooms and telephones, some with large balconies and sea views. Others to the rear of the hotel are quieter and have smaller balconies. The hotel is a typical city hotel with the emphasis on atmosphere and cleanliness. During the summer months a self service continental breakfast can be taken on the terrace together with the morning sunshine. An evening open air bar augments the terrace which has become a popular meeting place amongst the cosmopolitan set of guests and other visitors. Other features include two sun terraces with sunbeds and showers on the roof with magnificent views over the bay and Bellver Castle. There is a bar and TV lounge which in the winter months has a wonderful log burning fire. There is a wide range of restaurants to suit all tastes within walking distance from the hotel, or for the more adventurous our staff will be pleased to advise on different venues within easy reach by car or taxi.
