Bodega Room
One of the few
‘modern’ rooms that we have -- at least in the sense
that the art is all twentieth century instead of the eclectic
mix of 18th and 19th century works that you’ll find in
most of the other rooms.
The bed is Emperor size -- 7 feet (2.15 metres) by 7 feet,
and supremely comfortable, or at least so say all the giants
who’ve so far slept on it.
By
the way, it’s called the ‘Bodega’ because the
room was formerly a huge stone wine vat and when you’re
on the bed you’re actually floating at about the level
of the top of the vat -- 16 feet by 17 feet by 15 feet deep
-- when it was full of wine.Dionysus would approve.
